Colleen Troy
is a former reporter and long-time PR practitioner who launched her own firm with a handful of clients and a headful of ideas. Soon, the boutique firm was winning awards (Best of Show at SCPRSA in 2009; Mercury/Silver Wing awards), managing issues and campaigns, and growing clients reputations.
Previously, Troy was director of public affairs for NYU’s Stern School of Business and PR Director for a Southeastern agency. She has been named an “Inspiring Woman” by the Center For Women and Metro Charleston Chamber; was honored as a top adjunct professor (College of Charleston). She holds an M.A. in Media Ecology from New York University.
Troy serves on the board of directors for the Center for Women and is an active volunteer. Off hours – she spends most of her free time with her family. A foodie, she also enjoys travel, gardening and has an odd attachment to bad television.
